Jamといえば、ザ・ジャム＆パール・ジャム＆ジュディマリのどれかですが、こちらはご存知UKロックの兄貴、Paul Wellerの最初のバンドです。彼がまだ１０代の頃に出したファースト・アルバムの表題曲です。The Whoの「My Generation」とともにイギリスの若者のアンセム（ロキニョン風）だと思います。ただ、ウェラー自身は若者の代弁者になるのはイヤだったみたいですね。
大学時代にはまってましたが、また聴き直してます。フロアタムの疾走感がたまらないこのドラム、意外に難しいね。１０代だけあって、歌詞が若いですね。２５歳以下の若者は顔がテカテカしてるらしいです（笑）
